Christmas 2018.

Christmas is such a special time of year and here at St. Michael’s we mark it with special services throughout December.  Do check the calendar for more details

Nativity & Toy Service ~ 11am 9th December  

A special Nativity service where people are invited to bring new toys to offer as gifts for those children for whom Christmas will be a difficult time with presents hard to come by. In the service, toys are brought forward and received with thanksgiving. We will then pass the toys onto a local charity to distribute to local families/organisations caring for children.

Carol Service ~ 6.30pm 16th December   

Join us as we revisit the story of Christmas through Scripture and Song.  We include music from hand-bell ringers. We blend traditional carols with contemporary worship

 

Christingle ~ 5pm Christmas Eve

Christingle Service for all the family. The service includes the return of our Posada nativity figures which have been travelling around the parish during Advent

 

Midnight Communion ~ Christmas Eve 11.30pm

Join us to celebrate the birth of Jesus in a special communion service

Christmas Day service ~ Christmas Day 10am

Emmanuel, God is with us!  Come and celebrate this wonderful day with us at St. Michael’s.  Remember to bring along a present to show!
